Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson, in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson, (born April 24, 1982, Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.), American musician, singer and TV personality who emerged as a pop-rock star after her win in the TV talent competition American Idol in 2002. Clarkson was born within Burleson Texas (a suburban area in Fort Worth), where her talents in singing were first observed by her 7th grade singing teacher. Following her graduation from high school Clarkson relocated for a visit to Los Angeles to try to get into the showbiz. Following her return to Texas, she became participant on the initial season of the The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol, a singing show that allowed the audience to vote for their favourite performer. Viewers were smitten with Clarkson's jaw-dropping voice, her charisma, and humour. She won $1 million, and she also signed a recording agreement with RCA.
